The action takes place on the SS American sailing from New York to England. On board are a Gangster Moonface Martin, a beautiful American heiress Hope with her titled English fiance Sir Evelyn Oakleigh and her mother, a Nightclub Singer Reno Sweeney, and a young stowaway Billy Crocker who is an admirer of the heiress. All the potential disasters are avoided and all of the romances are sorted out during the voyage. Music and Lyrics are by Cole Porter
